The children spent the day being historians. They began by looking at different artefacts found on the site. After we explored replica building where we had the opportunity to speak to an expert about Anglo-Saxon tools. We all really enjoyed expanding our knowledge of Anglo-Saxon building which we will put to good use tomorrow in our DT lessons where we are building our own Anglo-Saxon village
