Our Nursery offers a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, happy and confident to explore and learn. Learning is play‑based, with carefully planned activities that support communication, social skills, independence and early curiosity.

Children benefit from regular outdoor learning in our wonderful Nursery garden, which provides a valuable space for exploration, physical development and imaginative play. Time outdoors supports wellbeing and helps children develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning.

Children can join our Nursery in the term after their second birthday. We offer fully funded nursery places, with sessions available from 9am–12pm, 12pm–3pm, or 9am–3pm.

We work closely with our Reception team to prepare children for the next stage of their learning. Familiar routines, shared expectations and strong relationships with staff ensure that the transition from Nursery to Reception at Burrowmoor is smooth, positive and practically seamless.
